Elderly Touch of Heart Ministry:

Mission

To provide food and resource assistance to the elderly and disabled society

The Elderly Touch of Heart Ministry, A program of Churches Outreach Network, has partnered with Hope of Glory Ministries, Council of Aging, Pitt County Sheriff senior check program, DARC, Attends and the North Carolina Food bank.

If you are 60 years old and older, or disabled or are a relative who takes care of someone 60 and older or disabled, then our Elderly touch of Heart Ministry may be what you need.

The mission of this program is to assist you or your relative with food and resource assistance

Through the Elderly touch of Heart Food program food is distributed to the Seniors in our community once per month.  A monthly schedule is done.  The Seniors in this program are able to receive a healthy food box consisting of meat, can goods, pasta and fruit.  Registration for this program is held once per year in May.  This is a referral only program through the Children of God in Christ Church and Churches Outreach Network

We must do all we can to help our elderly and disabled neighbors.
